INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY FROM YOU

Social Media: You may choose to enable or log into the Site via various social media or social networking services. By doing so, we can use these social networking services to provide you with a richer and more personalized experience with our products and services. For the social network Instagram, for example, our platform provider, Shopify, has made it possible to purchase our products directly from Instagram. All Vega XO products posted from our store will automatically become “Buyable items” on Instagram. In such circumstances, Instagram will provide Shopify and Vega XO with the same sort of information we receive when you place an order with us (name, address, phone number, and email address) to process those transactions. In situations other than direct purchasing through third-party sites, we will only collect your email address from third-party social media or social networking sites and do not collect or view any other information about you.

Third-party social media, social networking and other linked sites are not under the control of Vega XO and Vega XO is not responsible for the contents of any linked site, including the privacy policies or tracking technologies they may use. We encourage you to check the applicable privacy policy to determine how they will handle any personally information they collect from you.

Navigational Information: When you visit our Site, we automatically collect information related to how you got to the Site, such as browser type and version, service-provider identification, the Site from which you came, the site to which you navigate after leaving our Site, and the country from which you are accessing the Site. SHOPIFY

We host our Site on the Shopify platform. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. As part of its platform, Shopify will collects personal information about you and your browsing. Shopify has its own Privacy Policy (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy) and Terms of Use (http://www.shopify.com/legal/terms) that we highly recommend you review.

On behalf of Vega XO, Shopify collects information provided by you necessary to process payment for products purchased from our Site. This information, as noted above, would include your credit card number, billing address, telephone numbers, and credit card information (number, type of card, expiration date, and CVV number) to process payment for the purchase. Shopify collects and stores this information pursuant to the requirements of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). All direct payment providers are required to adhere to the standards set by the PCI-DSS, which help to ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. Under this standard, your payment information is stored in an encrypted form and is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase. After the completion of the transaction, your purchase information is deleted.

Shopify also collects information about you automatically on our behalf. Shopify installs cookies on your computer that allow it to collect information regarding your browsing on the Site, how you got to the Site, where you go from the Site, and the operation of the Site. Shopify collects information about your shopping on the Site that allow Shopify to place products in a shopping cart and to process your purchase.
